New communications formats for Rhododendron Research Network
This will be the last edition of this newsletter.
We are transitioning to a new communications structure for the Rhododendron Research Network.
We invite you to come along with us!
How to keep up with R-RN activities now that this newsletter is going away:
PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
Do you want to hear about research and conservation projects taking place around the world? AND/OR, Do you want to promote your own research to public audiences? There are a few great places you can find us!
These public communication channels will disseminate general information about the work of the R-RN, as well as promoting global Rhododendron research and conservation findings and opportunities such as publications, funding programs, community science opportunities, job openings, etc.
Anyone is invited to make research and conservation submissions to these public communication channels. You can contact us through the various platforms messaging functions, or contact Juliana Medeiros jmedeiros@holdenfg.org
If you are conducting research and/or conservation projects and you are looking to join working groups collaborating to write papers, conduct fieldwork, share samplesand data, etc, please sign up as a participant of the R-RN at this link:
Look for the link to "Join the research network", when you register you will be contacted with information about current working group opportunities.
Going forward, only those signed up for the Participant list on the R-RN Website shown above will receive email communications directly from R-RN about working group opportunities.
We hope these changes will better serve the Rhododendron research and conservation community as well as the interested public.
Thank you for your attention to this newsletter over the years,
